South Dakota & Colorado Vacation
In the Fall of 2009 Adrian, Susan & Douglas loaded up the car and departed on our first family trip to South Dakota & Colorado. Visits were made to Wall Drug (Wall, SD), Badlands National Park (Interior, SD), Mount Rushmore National Memorial (Keystone, SD), Custer State Park (Custer, SD) and Denver/Colorado Springs, CO.
Some of the memories from this trip included five tunnels, "faces" (Mount Rushmore) & "things that go round" (Windmill farms).
On the return trip home to Dunbar, WI we drove through the 3rd congressional district of Nebraska. The current congressman for the 3rd district also shares the name Adrian Smith.
